Do they make an upgrade chip for 3.0's? If so, recommendations please.....

im not sure but i think there is a chip out there for your car. the only problen is that your not turbocharged so the gains will only be like 5hp 10hp if your lucky. so IMO its not worth the money.

since the 1.8t and 2.0t is forced induction hp increases are easy its just a matter of telling your computer to make the turbo work harder. in turn forcing the turbo to create more pressure.

 

a chip for a NA car will give u about 10more hp, plus it will get rid of the top speed govener and most of them take off the rpm govener, so u can shift later, if u want to...

 

Chip giac about 5-8 hp but much improved throttle response.

Intake about 5 hp


exhaust they say about 6-8 hp...

Total for the 3 is some where around 12-18 hp

There is PES g3 Supercharger, 320 chp,

With intake and Their new Thermal custom exhaust for their g3 they are thinking they can get close to 350 chp.

They do.


It runs considerably cheaper than the 1.8t. I think 300.

Evo sports here in kirkland has it.
