Default Chip and DV replace?Important?

So, my car is going in this week to get Revo'ed and I have read a couple things about needing to replace the stock DV on "chipped" cars. How important is this to an '03 A4 1.8t Q w/ 35K? (I must admit I am not real easy on my car) Just don't want to get stuck somewhere. Any insite would be appriciated. Thanks. - Kappler.

DV would probably be recommended for you.
They're relatively inexpensive and help to get the job done when running higher boost.

Do a search for DV or Diverter valve for which one works best for your ride.

have fun with the chip, yea your gonna a new dv and a boost gauge if you dont already have one,

and if your gonna do anymore mods to your car i would be a pretty decent dv like forge 007, but if your just gonna stick with a chip, then just get the 710N

Is this something I will have to replace right away?

its not going to kill your car, but it something you should get out of the way first, that way you could just enjoy drving your car
