chip it yourself?

Could you install a chip yourself to avoid paying for labor???

You could, but no one will let you do it anyway. Besides, if anything goes wrong, it's on you and you won't be able to get any service from the tuner.

paying for labor!? I've only heard of that if you bought the chip off of ebay..otherwise install is free or there's a oneway shipping fee...

So if i were to order a GIAC or APR chip, i would have to take it to one of there shops to get it put in? and that would take about 24hours?

LOL, no..if you went to the tuners with your car it'd take about 15-30 minutes. If you mail your ECU in it'll take 24 hours for them to turn around and mail it back.

Alright awesome, Ive been lookin at APr and GIAC but the GIAC gives u 30hp while the APR puts out 45hp! <---well thats for my B6

They're pretty much the same. GIAC is supposed to give you "in your face" power where as APR is supposed to be smoother thru the powerband.
