Default chipping stock

ok,
i want to keep my car mostly stock, but i'm liking the #'s of these chips. i dont think i need a tip chip because my tiptronic is already instant shift (i was impressed)

so what i'd need to chip the car is: the chip and a new Diverter Valve right? i dont want to change the exhaust because i simply hate the sound, i like it nice and quiet.

would i see at least a 20 hp/tq gain with out exhaust?
has anyone experienced robbed MPG?
do you think the extra strain will effect the reliability of my overall drivetrain?

thanks,

i basically just want to be able to get up to freeway speeds faster. w/o dramatically changing my car. its ok now, but i'm coming off of the torque of a gt mustang and i want a bit more from my audi.

pending the chip you get you will likely see around a 20+ hp/tq gain if you have the 1.8T... if you go with dalhback apr or Giac you will expect gains like that... as for the dv you will need to replace that. you stocker holds air like a double layer potato chip bag... many peeps go with the TT's dv its a solid dv and will hold up through any of the chips i just mentioned... if you want to drop some cash get a balieys or something like that... as for reliability audis are made very well, strong sturdy cars.... you stock tranny and other componets will work if all you you do is chip it. as for mpg keep those rpms below 4 and you should see better mpg... Ill let you know its one of the first mod people do and after they do it they have no idea how they could have drove the car before... it will make it feel as your almost driving a diff car... let it be known your not going to be anywhere as fast as your supercharged mustang, but it will have dramatic effects on the audi

yeah, i just want the audi's 0-60 to improve (feels like im towing a boat right now) with keeping some good MPG numbers (the reason why the mustang is sold )
