Hey guys I just wanted to ask you guys what do you think about the chrome stripe that sourrounds the windows on the A4 2.8. Also the RS4 chrome mirrors.

Do you think it can be installed to a B5 1.8T? Do you have any ideas about the prices? I'm not really a chrome guy but I love the RS4 look and I'm trying to get as close as possible.

 

No you can't just swap the chrom trims. It's been tried, but no one has ever been able to do it. Lots of people do the mirrors, but please buy brushed aluminium ones, not chrome. You can find them on ebay.

 

Is brushed almunium what comes stock in the RS4?

 

RS4 mirrors are brushed aluminum, S4 mirrors are polished aluminum.

 

Then I'm going with the brushed ones... I was looking on ebay before but I couldnt find any. Do you know any website that I can get them from? I mean not the whole mirrors just the covers or whatever those are called
