Is it possible to upgrade the black window trim to chrome on a 1999 a4 1.8t? I looked on ebay for chrome trim and molding and didn't have any luck.

 

possible yes ... but don't you think the black looks better ? more sleek atleast... go to some jukyard and get one off another car ... i wish mine was black and i might be making it soon !

 

yea go to a junk yard, and get it offa a 2.8

1.8s have black 2.8s have chrome...

 

i think the chrome looks nicer if you dress up the car in other areas as well, but if you just keep the stock appearance than the black looks cleaner.

im in the process of buying a 1.8 and i want the chrome window trim to well see what happens.

 

The only chrome that belongs on an audi IMO are the rings.

hahah... my father inlaw always asks me if im gunna get spinners and a coffee can exhaust for my audi.

 

Does anyone know how to remove this trim? I just posted a topic on it... it seems that its caught in real tight by something... the one under the windows comes off easy but the big long peice wont come off
