So after all this I'm thinking about buying a Vag-Com, any links to anything I can do with it as to additional features. Increase rev limiter or on dash display?? Thanks

No just disconnect it for a half hour or so. You'll want to do a throttle body alignment before starting too. Just turn the key to the point before starting the engine. Let it sit for 5 minutes or so. You should hear some clicking from the engine bay while it's doing it's thang.

if you pull the radio fuse before you pull the battery cable, it shouldn't ask for the radio code when it is hooked up again. at least it has worked for me every single time.

you can also take out your ECM and leave that sit for half an hour that will clear your code

Lower each window part way. Close each window, release button and press to raise again.

shouldnt it clear itself eventually after the problem is fixed? And no dont always trust the dealer
