Hi,

1998 A4 1.9TDi saloon

My climate control readout has developed a fault - the first number of the temperature display does not show the full number - e.g. if it was displaying 21C, the 1 would show fine, but the 2 would not display correctly. Does anyone know if there are bulbs behind here that could be causing the problem, or would I need to get a complete new unit? The unit itself seems to be working correctly, it is just the readout.

I have attached a photo of the climate control version I have (although the one in the photo is functioning properly)

 

It is a lcd screen without bulbs the screen will need replaced which may require a whole new unit.
