Hey guys.. In my 96 A4 the Climate Control display was freaking out.. it would work sometimes and others it wouldnt.. if i tapped on it, it would light up so i knew it wasnt the bulbs. So i went on Audiworld.com and one of the members there was really friendly and helped me out.. he gave me a writeup on how to fix it and it worked!!

for me I had to just tighten the metal tabs on the back of the circuit board by twisting them a little bit more..

It was bugging me for the longest time.. and everyone was like get a new one, or solder the joints.. but if you look at those pics in Kris's writeup there are the tabs that were easy to twist and Viola!!! it works!!!!!
