where would the closes place for me to get a chip install if i lived in south carolina?..... atlanta? charlotte?

 

Most people dont do this, but if u know what u diong u can do it yourself, if u can get ur hands on a chip. Alls u need is solder pump and solder.

 

GIAC has installers in Durham, NC and Marietta, GA.

APR has installers in Charlotte, NC and Buford, GA.

If you're in Hilton Head, I would look for somebody in Savannah. Call the Audi dealer and ask if they know of anybody in the area. I know what you're up against finding things down in that area. Beaufort, SC is my hometown but now I live in the Philadelphia, PA area. I used to be able to see Hilton Head across Port Royal sound from my bedroom window.

 

Yep thats right, the level sensor will set off an alarm if the car is lifted past a certain degree. Every time you lock your car, the level alarm is armed as well. When you push the button above the trunk release it will turn off that alarm until you re-lock your car. Its pretty much a safety switch so your car alarm will not go off when your car NEEDS to be towed (god forbid) vs being stolen.
