Why didnt you say so kemp, i seen people get 500whp on their k04.

But seriously though get at least a k05 or k06, and crank it up to like 50psi then you will be bordering the 1000hp mark.

if you have a 96-00, you'll actually see pretty good gains out of a k04, especially if he does get the pc-16. but i do agree that I would get a different turbo for more power.

as far as clutches, it all depends how much HP your going to put out when all is said and done. If you get a bigger turbo then the k04 then I would get a southbend stg 4, if your going k04 then stg 3.

for that 1000hp tuning u should steal a carbon composite clutch from the carrera gt and then u wont have to worry about anything...and its only like 10oz so itll save u some weight...

Kemp why do you do this to yourself? We have told you time and time again that boost means nothing if the turbo is out of its efficiency range. The stock k03-k04 is at its peak power no more than 15 psi. If you want power gains over that boost range then you need some air volume into the engine along with fuel which requires a larger turbo and bigger injectors and software to support it. Save your money so you can get a decent size turbo and you won't regret it.

That is true! I have a 99.5 A4 and I saw HUGE gains over my K03. I am running 310CC injectors, FMIC, PC-16, AFPR, and stuff like that. I am getting a new exhaust here soon and then it will be ever better! But if you have an 01 or newer than yes you will not see that much of a gain because you are going to go from the K03S instead a normal K03.

the amount of money you'll spend on the pc-16 setup is about the same as a small t3t4 or gtrs. unless you find a really good deal, skip the k04. as for clutch, unless your going BT stage 2 will be plenty. a small BT like the gtrs, you would want a stage 3

which clutch are you talking about? All their stages aren't the same.

I got a stage 3 southbend clutch, only has like 400 miles on it. i wonder if it'll hold up to a gt2x or gtrs.. otherwise i made a mistake (did really have BT plans when I got it). I wonder if anyones interested in buying a used clutch that was used very lightly considering its in it's "break in period". but i think my clutch will hold up fine without launching it.

if you need a new one look at southbend or spec. pick the one thta will suffice for the power you think you have.
