Which clutch to buy
if you have a 96-00, you'll actually see pretty good gains out of a k04, especially if he does get the pc-16. but i do agree that I would get a different turbo for more power.
as far as clutches, it all depends how much HP your going to put out when all is said and done. If you get a bigger turbo then the k04 then I would get a southbend stg 4, if your going k04 then stg 3.

Kemp why do you do this to yourself? We have told you time and time again that boost means nothing if the turbo is out of its efficiency range. The stock k03-k04 is at its peak power no more than 15 psi. If you want power gains over that boost range then you need some air volume into the engine along with fuel which requires a larger turbo and bigger injectors and software to support it. Save your money so you can get a decent size turbo and you won't regret it.

the amount of money you'll spend on the pc-16 setup is about the same as a small t3t4 or gtrs. unless you find a really good deal, skip the k04. as for clutch, unless your going BT stage 2 will be plenty. a small BT like the gtrs, you would want a stage 3
which clutch are you talking about? All their stages aren't the same.
I got a stage 3 southbend clutch, only has like 400 miles on it. i wonder if it'll hold up to a gt2x or gtrs.. otherwise i made a mistake (did really have BT plans when I got it). I wonder if anyones interested in buying a used clutch that was used very lightly considering its in it's "break in period". but i think my clutch will hold up fine without launching it.
