About how long does it take to change the stock clutch of a 2001.5 1.8tqm?

Shop told me 8 hours. And thats their experienced labor.

a shop said 10.7 that seems rather steep to me for a clutch...

Yeah i suppose it may vary from shop to shop, but 8-9 hours is what it should take.
