Has anyone had clutch slip with their A4,mine has only done 33k miles and is only 18mts old. The clutch is slipping mainly in 2nd and 3rd gear. Audi are quoting £1300 if not covered under warranty.

 

very difficult to answer, they will blame the driver because ppl keep their foot on the clutch peddle or ride the clutch at traffic lights then its down to wear and tear, if you can prove other wise you will get it on the warranty clutch king in the UK supply and fit with 2 years warranty for around £250.00 ( £1300 ) is a joke

 

ps: they have to prove otherwise and chances are they will just replace it under warranty

if in the UK they are in yellow pages but regardless of who you take it to it will be no where near £1300 just check around

 

they fitted a new kit in my roller for £500

 

1300 POUNDS!???? Thats like 2300 American... holy *****.. I could fly out there... put in a clutch.. and fly back for cheaper....

Thats interesting... What are the power output numbers on a 2004 TDI?

 

130 standard or more hp dependant on customers request ( not a lot ) but the torx from the wheels is impressive but designed for economy not speed
