Default Clutch went out

So, i know im probly gonna get **** from people about this. My clutch burned out on my 2000 A4 the other day. The shop told me it was probably from my clutchwork and not being experienced enough with the gears, etc. Well now my parents want to sell it because the shop told them it will probably happen again. what should i do? any tips on driving this car? I now realize i just am going to have to be alot softer on it. but i am not going to let it go i refuse to sell this car because i love it so much. help me out guys, thanks

How did you manage to burn through a clutch? I learned how to drive stick on my A4 and I am not the softest on it either... grind a gear here and there.

Well depending on how much you want to spend I think you could either DIY and replace it or take it to a shop.

same thing happend to me, i burend a clutch up real fast after i got the car. dad fliped out and i took an audi tech for a ride in my car to make sure i was driving a stick right. he just said that i was pushing it too hard. basically he said i was racing a stock clutch and said it would go out again unless i took it easier or got a stronger one. i was launching the thing and shifting high in teh rpms and pushing it hard.

my clutch is also gone but 100,000 miles on a stock clutch for awd isnt bad at all mine went at 80,000. putting in a lightened flywheel with it though.
