coil packs
Do the Hitachi coil packs offer any performance improvements, or do they just last longer?
I had my first coil pack failure this week and I'm considering just replacing them all with the Hitachi "E" coil packs. ECS has a nice ignition package.

Hitachi E's FTW
Some on AW/AZ have said that they don't throw as strong of a spark, but others also say that's BS. All I know is that I keep spare R's in my trunk, but the hitachi E's so far are smooth as buttah. And I run like I stole it with a big turbo.
Went through R revisions like it was going out of style.

Beautiful car dude. That answers my question mostly. Instead of replacing these Bremi coil packs with more of the same, I was wondering if it was smarter to cut to the chase and just replace them all with the Hitachi coils. I also like how you can acutally secure them to the head.
