Default coil packs

whats the best coil packs to get for my car? just a 98 1.8t quattro k04 turbo, giac chip. Its misfiring and idk if my packs have been replaced and i no its a common problem, so i thought i would start there. Thanks

its the aeb motor too.

Are you getting a CEL? If so do you have a VAG to show what cylinder is misfiring? Tkae the coil out of that cylinder and move it to another if the CEL moves then it's your coilpacks for sure.

Some people had trouble with brand new jobber coil packs so if you get new ones either oem audis, bosch or beru something original..

make sure your plugs are gapped correctly for the tune also.

misfire in cylinder one and two, pulled a multiple misfire code, and whats the right gap size.

.028 for your car. That can indeed cause misfiring.

worked, dropped them to .028 and no misfing, another problem im having is i cant hold boost, it tapers off bad, not like normal boost taper, and i was reading on a forum that the intercooler lines could be clapsing caus im going from holding 15 pounds to tappering to 10 pounds with no boost leaks anywhere? thanks

Upgrading your intercooler pipes can only help you. If you have a stock side mount, I have some hardpipe thats a stock replacement. Just PM me.
