Coilover help?

Coilover help?
Yeah so this install is a huge PITA so far... I'd still do it myself if I had to do it again, because a mechanic would have charged a fortune anyways...
Anyhow, my issue: I have 2.25" of threads showing on both my rear coilovers, but one side sits higher than the other. wtf? Any ideas?
PS: we are talking like 1/2 and inch of difference, or close to it!

RE: Coilover help?
Make sure the spring is seated fully on the higher side. Jack it up a little until the spring is loose and wiggle the spring. I've seen them hang up and cause this problem. If that isn't it, you may have a bad spring on the lower side. Could have been heat treated improperly and be unable to support the vehicle's weight as well as the other side.

RE: Coilover help?
Apparently, it is fairly common to have uneven height after new suspension... there is a brake in period where things settle in a bit, but I think it was stasis, they said that it is not uncommon to have to adjust the perches to different heights on either side, to get an even ride height. No big deal I guess....
