coilover question

What is the difference between coilovers for a fwd and a quattro? All I see on ebay is for fwd and its pissing me off. thanks

PS. anyone want to sell me their used coilovers for my 99.5 a4 quattro?

There has got to be a weight difference in the front end. Hence, specific shock/springs or coilovers for a FWD versus AWD.

doesn't it have something to do with the rear clearance due to the rear diff?
i don't have any hands on exp, but some friends in Norway do pretty much nothing but audis, and their solution has been drop springs in back and air suspension up front..
not sure if that would answer your question at all, but im here to learn as well

the fronts are similar but the rears are way different.

Yeah doesn't the FWD rears have the springs on the alxe where the AWD have a strut due to the AWD??
