Anyone in the colder parts of the country have any trouble with cold starts? My car has been starting pretty rough at 34-37 degrees in the morning. It normally will start and run around 1200 rpm but when it's cold, it runs about 1000 and sounds as if it wants to die right after ignition. I just changed the oil to a 5w-30 castrol syntec 2 weeks ago. Should I have gone with 0w-30?Also, what kind of plugs do most b6 drivers use? If anyone has any suggestions that don't involve a vag-com, I'd be glad to hear them. I have a 02 A4 with 38k. Sorry ifmy questions have been answered already, but thesearchengine on the forum doesn't worka lot of the times. Thanks.

 

Change your CTS (coolant temp sensor) on the back of the cylinder head.
