he has a 12v people, the only full exhaust choices he has are over a grand
yea right, go to an exhaust shop and tell them your ideas and see what they piece together for you, it will be cheaper and i bet they will do a nice job. bending piping is childs play for them. you can throw on any kind of tips you want and i would stay away from a $400 muffler.

Well I paid like $250 for the muffler... and i got 2 magnaflo converters for $100... but I just checked out the inlet/outlet of the cats and there only 2"... should I by-pass the converters and do straight pipe down to the muffler?? I need some ideas... also just out of curiousity, how do you take out the resinator?

The resonator is the muffler-looking thing after the Y-pipe before the rear muffler. It's right in front of your rear axle. Have the shop pull it out and replace it with a pipe and you're set.

i was talking about full exhaust options from a manufacturer, of course there is custom the only problem you run into with custom exhausts is quality

i was gonna get one of those. but the 400 they wanted jsut for the muffler i decided for 900 to jsut go and grab a borla cat back which includes a DP
I only paid $650 for my B5 1.8T Borla cat back - itincluded shipping and no tax. I even think it was lessthan$900 on Borla's website! Did you get robbed?

Well unfortunetely for me, my year and make of audi has no full exhaust systems. Which in my case kinda sucks so I have to pick out what parts I want and have a shop custom SS pipe it all together. So I got the remus universal exhaust which is the axle back retail at $400 I got it for $255 shipped and all. Then I got 2x new magnaflow cat converters as well because my old ones are all fucked up. Now I have to get it all customed together. Only problem is that the converters came in and are 2" inlet/outlet.. I don't know how much it will effect the air flow even if I make the piping at 2.25" which is the exhausts inlet diameter.
