on friday, I received a cool compliment about the audi stock sound system. The guy who told me this recently put an awesome alpine system in his truck. He asked me what kind of system I had in my car. I told him that it was all stock components. He originally though there was a sub in there. I know this was pretty lame, but I just thought I'd share.

Bose is the shizit, then if you add a sub its even better, the sound is amazing

 

It really depends on who you ask. Seems like everyone hates the bose system on Audiworld.

 

IT really does suck if you have to replace something cuz its so damn expensive or if you want to upgrade because upgrading speakers means pretty much re wiring the whole audi system.....

 

yea but if you're looking to replace something you shouldn't get Bose in the first place...the Bose system was meant to stay stock, aftermarket components won't give you better sound (except adding a sub)...i've seen a lot of people on AW hating on Bose, i don't get it either

 

The Bose system in our Audi's is far superior to any other factory system i have ever heard... The Bose system in my buddies Inifiniti QX4 isnt near as quality as the Audi..

I decided to sell my amp and sub when i bought my Audi .. there was really no need for it anymore..

The system in my friend's G35 is nothing compare to my Bose.

 

Anybody try swaping out non-bose speakers for Bose? I dont think I have the Bose but then again I dint know how to check.........

 

My 96 Maxima has Bose.. DAMN.. I love that stero!! Everyone thinks i have a sub too.. It really is the best sounding stock stero ive ever heard in a car.. The highs, mids, lows are just so perfect. Cant wait to take it to Colorado this spring, the deciding factor for what car to take on the road trip was based on stereo quality. Just ordered new struts/shocks for the trip in it too.. Now Im getting off topic.
