Default Computer update part 2

Well, our new Audi A4 is back home. Apparently, when my wife attempted to start it the first time at home, she turned the key partially to start, but didn't. Apparently, doing that sends the computer into a theft protection mode for a short time.

Would that set a code?

The dealer was asked if they could pull any codes : nope.

That is why I'm asking if a theft alert or whatever would generate one. Whatever happened to cause the car to not start for about 1.5 hours DIDN'T generate any codes, according to the dealer.

Yea there probably right, they know the cars, but I would think that with a system like that it wouldn’t throw any codes it would just do its business of not letting the car start for a while then be on its marry way without problems
