Need the part number for Audi or VW. Only have a VW dealer here.

Was trying to replace my CTS and found this hose was ripped. Ripped it to shreds trying to get it out of the way. Also, if someone could point out where the CTS actually is I ran out of daylight and haven't found it!

This is an 01 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro.

How do you get to it? There is no way to get all that stuff out of the way.

Replace the whole Coolant flange anyway. It will be degraded & leaking past it's seal & you can fit the CTS into it first.
It's not easy, but it's not too hard either, some engine versions are easy to get to ( earlier? ) & Some not. But once you have done it you will be confident about doing it again.
A ratchet ring spanner is helpfull, anything low profile with a locked on socket. Preferably with a long handle. And extra long needle nose pliers & big flat screwdriver.
If replacing just the CTS, tape the clip to some wire so you can position it & not drop it. Use rubber grease on the 'O' ring, for lubrication & to protect it against oil. Where it sits, it can collect oil & ruin the 'O' ring seal from the top.
But basically the whole Rear Coolant Flange/CTS & hose pipe 'O' rings should be replaced at the same time.
Use G13 coolant & vacuum evacuate the coolant system to fill it.

Check your crankcase ventilation system & fan switch too. It's all a cheapish job if you DIY & you won't have any problems with it again, ever.
