Default Control Arm

Hey guys, I was wondering if you know of anywhere where i can find a DIY install guide for installing crontrol arms. I am still concidering buying an audi, but as i have gone through the posts i see that I should try learn everything about audi's and I saw that this is a freequent problem with them. I just want to make sure that I am capeable of this install. I have searched Audiforums and I didnt come up with anything that resembelled a guide to install. (sorry about spelling) Also, any other problems, other then water pump/timing belt that you guys think I should watch out for, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Depends on the model series, b5s are notorious for such things, not sure about b6 or b7s. You would be surprised how moderately simple repair work can be if you only have the right tools, plus a little patience and research. Anyways if you need alot of tech articles go here...

search man, there was a writeup posted on this recently.

I did the tie-rod ends with no write-up, its pretty straight forward.

The control arms dont look difficult to replace, depending on which ones you are replacing.

there are 4 on each side, 2 upper, 2 lower.
