I looked at past threads for this and seems im not the only one with this problem. My coolant temp gauge will sometimes stay in the cold then go normal then fall back to cold. I am hoping that the ECT sensor needs to be replaced (what do those run$$$$). Any suggestions?

 

Sounds like ECT for sure. I just replaced mine and it was 40 from the dealer, but I get it at cost so it was only 28

 

ecstuning sells them for either 7 bucks or 13 bucks, depending on which color you have

 

yep, I had the same problem. Only on mine, when I ran 16psi, it broke the clip and blew it out....lol...kinda sucked.
