Default A couple problems, seeking help

Well i just bought a '98 a4 but there are a couple problems i need to get fixed before it is up to 'par'
first thing on the list: The LCD is broken (I think) It is VERY pixilated, and some pixels don't even turn on. Is this just a bad connection or am I going to have to replace the LCD? If I have to replace the LCD is it something that I can do personally, or would an audi certified mechanic have to do it?

Second thing on the list: When I go over a bump the rear of the car swirves a little to either side, but then is brought back in line with the car. The dude who sold it to me told me about this problem before i bought the car (he said it was the rear struts). Does this sound like a strut problem? Would i be able to replace these myself?

Thirdly: I didn't get a manual... Is there an online free one or do I have to buy one on eBay?

Lastly: (partly due to the manual situation) I cann't 'tune' the radio and only go up a couple Mhz at a time, i only have the 'seek' option. Is there a way to 'tune' the radio? (stock radio/bose setup)

Thanks,

jcc2k4

Pixelation is a common problem. Only way is to replace the unit. It is easy to replace but you have to replace the entire instrument panel. It is about 500 dollars plus from Audi, or you can get one used. However, the mileage is stored in the instrument cluster.

2. Could be bad suspension or bad 4 wheel alignment. Have it checked my a mechanic who knows how to deal with quattro.

3. You can get a manual from bentley publishers, but you are better off from ebay.

4. Don't know why you only have the seek option. I don't know what version of the radio you have but there should be a **** on the right for manual tuning.
