A couple of little problems
1) by my windshield, on my 99.5, you know how by where the wipers are there is like a black rubberish type thing that lines the bottom of the windshield with I think 4 screws along it. Well, one side is coming off and I tightened the screw but it doesn't seem to hold the thing- it only holds something else that's lose. Do any of you know what I'm talking about? It seems like it should be really tight to prevent water from getting into the engine bay or something.
2) my center console (where the shifter is) is crazy. It seems like the (cheap?) plastic parts that are kind of interlocked together are not properly locked together, and every time I break/accelerate they make a lot of noise as though they're rubbing together and kind of squeak.
3) as I checked on problem #1 by opening the hood, after just haven driven somewhere, I noticed that at the top left (standing facing the car) I heard this sithering/bubbling type noise that wasn't too loud but I could definitely hear it.
Anyone have any tips? Thanks.

1.Those screws you talk about only hold the cowl panel on. Sounds like yours isnt on properly. You should have any leaks because of that thou as the windshield seal is what seals that area, not the cowl panel.
2.If the panels arent installed properly you should install them properly to remove the noise.
3.Usually the noise in that area is more of a hiss. It is caused by the ac system equaling out pressure when the vehicle is turned off.

1/. it covers the wiper motor and is aesthetic value only water wont get into the engine bay because there are drains there so keep them clean from leaves
2/. that technology for you "biodegradable" not flexy enough, they could have put some rubber shim in there got that defeats the object
3/. well covered
