I just recently purchased a 01 B5 1.8 and there is no owners manual. What type of oil do I use? Synthetic 5w40? Also is it necessary to install a turbo timer?

 

yes, syn 5w-40 is fine. no, you don't NEED a turbo timer, but it's a good thing to have, especially if you like to have fun with your car. you can buy owners manuals on ebay or from audiusa.com....you really should get one, they are VITAL.

 

Cool, thanks. The dealer that I bought it from, will be sending me the manual as soon as it arrives. I noticed the Oil pressure is at 200, is that normal?
