Hi i'm new to the forum, I have just bought my first audi A4 avant 2.0 tdi 140 which vry pleased with the car but noticed it was quite hard to start when it is up to tempearture usally takining between 5 and 7 seconds to start. We took it back to the garage they plugged it in and it came up with nothing, They then put new glow plugs in and still no change surprise surprise as the problem is when it's hot not cold! The garage then told me they are going to put the car into audi for them to check over and there computer came back with nothing. A few days later the garage phoned me and said that the car had a cracked injector...? Could this be right I would have thought if it had a cracked injector the car would be smokey and down on power and mabe even off a cylinder. I just wondered if anyone has ever heard of this problem before..?
