Crankshaft pulley wobble - Lemons Car
Hello all,
Background: we recently acquired an a4 1.8t that had been rolled to turn into a 24 hours of lemons car. Upon the stripping and cutting process, the AC system was removed of course. Since the compressor and belt have been removed, the crankshaft pulley was begun to wobble and makes a "knocking" noise during idle. Is this a common problem with the pulleys? Or could it possible just be loose? I am new to audi's.
On a footnote - we got the car down to 1935 pounds!!
