I did. It was clearly my fault, but I did not get a ticket.

 

o well thats good but now your going to pay out your *** for the next 7 yrs in insurance trust me it sucks I'm still paying for a accident that i wasn't even in my buddy was driving my car and he wrote it off

 

many times the ins company has bodyshops that they work with and will send the check to them directly to do the work. They do the estimate and everything. But you always have the option to go to an independent shop and get your own estimate done. Then get the check sent to you.

But if your estimate does not really come close to their estimate (ie yours is bloated) you may get embroiled in a little war over $$.

 

Watch out getting an S4 bumper, I bought one and it requires a Wide body kit to fit...it hangs out about 4 inches on the sides, the oem bumper with a front CF spoiler looks good if you are trying to go for a sporty look.

I just got my A4 out of the shop, I also ran into a car from behind. I know how much pain it is seeing your car like that...

 

Ehh the S4 bumper fits just fine, although it will look like you have an overbite unless you get sideskirts. The RS4 bumper requires a wide body kit, or some modifications of the bumper.
