Anyone know the answer to my "red dashlite" question?

 

Yeah I want to know on the red dash lights, Cause I love my A6 right now it doesn't blind me when I am driving at night. Hopefully it is a new change, I can't upgrade past 2002 for atleast another 3 years.

 

I'll be dissapointed if they have changed it. Looks crap.... after having red lights it does anyway.

And here I was just searching the forums about how different chips affect gas mileage...impressive.

 

I believe that 99 and less have all red while 99.5 have white... could be wrong.. but I do LOVE my all red interior~!

 

Well I never intend on owning anything after a 99.5 then. I'll find something else with red lights!!! :-(

 

Haha, I'm sure you can change the little bulbs behind it, and put red ones in. So don't fret!

Our old 96 had all red, now that you mention it... and I do remember appreciating it very much. I get by with what I have now, though... in my 2000. I should look into that bulb conversion thing. HMM.

 

Our cars Look sexy as hell with all red lights. I will post some pics later on.
