^ Yup, just imagine if you DIY and it fails again. The liability will be a big issue if you get into an accident. I'd rather point a finger to audi than myself.

Is there a relief valve or something under there that may have come off? Or does anybody know where I can find just the ABS pump portion of the assembly? The part number is 8E0-614-111B if that helps. thanks

 

I would also report this to the national traffic highway safety board. They keep track of reports of auto failures that cause safety problems, and if enough are received they will force a recall.

Found out where the leak is...it's the plastic plug on the left, can it be replaced or do i have to buy a whole new unit?



on a side note...this camera takes kick-*** pictures!

would replace it as long as the ABS unit is in good working order.

 

Hey, got my car back....It cost $1200, and that's including the 20% discount they gave me. I called Audi of America and took it up with the customer service and they wouldn't cover ****... Focking pissed me off.
However I did get my old control module back, which is actually new cause it was replaced 6 months ago, How much do they go for on ebay or in the classifieds?

Any suggestions on what I could do now?

 

You can probably get 200-250 on the classifieds. Maybe more on Ebay.

 

who replaced it six months ago? if this is the case then i would go to whoever put it in and make them pay!
