So i want to try to fix my avants cruise control problems but i want to MAKE SURE that i can still drive fine with the module removed. I've read yes but i'd feel safer with some more reassurance.

PM Sineo - she just fixed hers. Don't know if she drove with it that way, but it's worth finding out from someone who just did the same repairs that you're doing.

Yes, you can drive without the module.
