From an old fart, turn the volume down

You might want to try some rubber grommets behind the plate.

I used to use sponge (just like the one you wash your car with..) and cut it one inch thick, and put it between your plate and bumper, coz the sponge absorbs the vibe, so it works like a charm.

"Boot"??? "Number Plate"??? You mean trunk and license plate right??? They make stuff called dynomat that is used for insulating areas of the car that vibrate with monster setups ike yours. But from the way you are describing these parts on your car, they may not carry this stuff in the part of the world you live in... ?? Im sure you could just rig something up. Put a piece of cardbord behind your plate.

Sponge.

If the bass is extreme, fold a kitchen hand towel and stuff it behind the plate.
