would there be any benefit in running a larger oil filter for a 2.8 in a 1.8TQM

when i bought my car he gave me one for my next oil change and i found out it was for a 2.8

More oil and lowers chance of sludge when used with syn oil. No longitude 1.8t should EVER use a small filter.

OK, how about cooler oil temps andfewer times recycled through the system. But you could of deduced that from more oil, or atleast i hoped
