actually this "hot air intake" work alot better, and sounds alot better than just the airbox mod. you guys can hate all you want. to me it looks fine looks the same as the evoms intake, but whatever. i got the cone from advance auto for 20 bucks and so far it works great. thanks for the douche bag words some of you......

im sure it will work fine. however you should add the stock snorkle to get some cold air right on there

ok i put the stock snorkle back on and its working good, but as for the filter put on the end of the exposed tube i have been to 2 auto parts store and havent found one to fit the hose diameter. any suggestions on were to go?

dude I think it's called a breather filter I just picked one up today along with the cone..
Dude is the plastic peice between the tube and the cone parts of the airbox, or did you have to buy those seperatly???????

I haven't pulled mine apart yet, it's freakin snowing outside.. So I don't know about the componenets of this bx yet

^ there's mine - I used the stock snorkel and bottom half of the airbox.

yeah but my question was where does the peice in between the cone and the hose come from, in your case the metal peice the sensor fits on??? I have a 1.8T by the way it might not be the same..

Ya, 1.8t is completely different intake setup.

Why? What are you going to do once its all appart?? You need speacial intake piping to run a cone filter on the 1.8t.
