Is it possible to have a cv joint click while going straight and around turns at low speeds even if the boot is not torn?

yes, it is possible, when mine got really bad, they would click at low speeds, even if i wasn't turning.

it could also be your tranny center support bearing, they can sound similar to clicking cv joints, and that's more likely to click while driving in a straight line.
