mmm, hard to tell, looks like new door, and some metal work on that rocker, i dont see that costing 1300 maybe 7-800, is that a dealer quote ? because they are going to rape you, moral of the story...those jacks suck ***
Maybe not quite $1300 but not much less. I see is a new door and moldings.
New doors go for like $750.
Considering labor to remove the old door, transfer all the hardware (window, hinges, electrical, speakers, etc., etc.), attach new modling, paint the new door, and hang the new door; you can get to $1100-$1300 bucks quick.

You work for roadside assistance.
First, why don't you guys have your own good jacks to use. A good jack takes a few seconds to use while the jack that comes with the car is a PITA and takes quite a few minutes to get up, especially if you consider all the time to go dig it out of the car.
Second, doesn't your company cover this expense? You aren't paying for this yourself are you?
I can believe it being $1300, but you may get lower quotes if you shop around.

You work for road side assistance, and you had to assist your own car.... and the jack sucks *** so it fell off and ripped a hole in your car... I say.
THEY SHOULD PAY FOR IT

Oh now I am more confused too. I figured he was working and it was someone elses car. I guess it is his car otherwise he probably wouldn't be posting about it I guess.
If its your car, go get some better (cheaper) quotes if you can.
