Yep my seats are black... and sucked on long trips because they don't have lumbar support.

The S4 seats are a lot nicer... the leatherette holds up much better than real leather in some ways.... like my leatherette with 80 000 km on it was PERFECT. I swear it was indistinguishable from a new cars... as leatherette cleans up like new everytime! UNTIL IT CRACKS! haha
leather is very durable in terms of cracks... but leather scratches, scuffs, and creases. So leather looks used from the moment it is used!

I still love my S4's though... I like power seats for the most part. I just don't like that they are known to stop working.

And my sweet beaituful lumbar... lumbar support alone was worth the upgrade.

Do the leatherette seats heat your back, or just your bum?

If I recall correctly, which I think I might not... only the butt got heat. The S4's lower back is definately heated though...

seems to me that the old seats prolly had lower back heat, and my memory is just useless.
I definately need lumbar. Not all people benefit from it... but I certainly do.

Yep, its just the butt in my b5 as well, i never noticed it myself because frankly the butt heaters kinda creep me out.

There is just something creepy about only having you butt cheeks warm when the rest of you is cold, can't put my finger on it but it just creeps me out.

I like 'em in my b6 because it also heats up the back.

Yeah the S4 seats heat my lower back. I wish I could turn off the butt heat... but the low back heat feels soooo good.

mmm... I've got power lumbar in my leatherettes. I like to adjust it as soft as possible, lean back, and then make the seats as firm as possible. Its almost like a massage.

haha that is tight. I guess lumbar was an option for our cars... cause sometimes the leatheretttes have it, sometimes they dont. I think the real leather seats (from the 2.8) always has it though.
