Damn ... ofset problem what shoul I do ?
Hi guys .. I am going to buy coilover for 99 B5 but the problem is my BBS wheels ofset ,they are 32 insted of 35 so if I lower the car the wheels will rub to the fenders.I searched for the parts for camber adjustment but I found that they are only for front side. Can I widen u the fenders without bodywork and paint ? opinions plz.
you can roll your fenders with a fender roller...some websites rent them and i believe some autozones also have loner tools that you can use for free...a 3mm difference shouldn't be a problem though...it depends on how wide your wheels are...i went from a 35mm to a 45mm offset, but it still rides fine because the wheels are much wider
Thanx..bentframe BTW ,are you still selling your 3 spoke steering wheel (w/airbag) ? I have 225/40/18's though...4 mm' will be enough for me. in worst case I will lower as I can and throw some stiffer sways..
Sorry to hijack but I am trying not to be in the same position as you are in now. What would be the best offset? My car is a 2000 A4, I am looking to lowering it, What backspacing do I need for 18*8 wheels?
for 18x8 i think a 45 offset is about what you want
prodrive, i do still have the steering wheel but it doesn't include the airbag, just the steering wheel itself

rear camber on your motor can be adjusted so you only need the front parts

Thats cool man , is it ETKA ? I need that s/w urgently
thanx but the fronts will cost 600 $ [:@] at purems.com.I am thinking now rolling the fenders or upgrading the sways.
