Default that darn ghost

ok - I've seen that others have the same issue that I am having with my sunroof - on it's own, the ghost is closing it sometimes, not letting me close it others, etc. Could be about 5 times I have had the dealer look at it when I have it in for other stuff. They have lubed the rails (the sunroof is smooth sailing, when it works), opened and cleaned the conectors. The ghost laughs. What is the next step, have them replace the dial? Motor? - still on warranty Thanks.

It happens somethimes to me. like hb972.8q said. It is related with swiches. I can open and close the sunroof without turning it. if you pull or push the switch little bit you will understand.

Removing

- Carefully pry off lens -1- using flat screwdriver.

- Remove both Phillips-head screws -2-.

- Pry out hooks at -B- using screwdriver and then remove interior/reading light with sunroof switch -3- from roof.
- Disconnect both harness connectors -4- and -5-.

no, it won't work with the harness connectors unplugged. you have to clean the contact points (metal on metal) on the back of the switches
