Lost my head lamp washer cap, so I ordered another, painted it and can't get the d*mn thing on. Does anyone know if there is a trick? I see where the 2 holes are on each side to pop in, but you can't push it all the way down to click. And when you spray the wiper fluid they only pop out for about 1/2 second. Anyone dealt with these before? Any help is appreciated...

 

i cant remember if i used pliers or not but you can just pull them out manually without damaging anything, once there out just slap the cap on.

 

The best way is to pull it out of the bumper, then lay a flat head screwdriver on the bumper under the lip of thewasher so it doesn't go back down. Now you can pop it on without it shooting downwards on you.

 

perfect...took 1 minute. i was afraid to yank on that thing without asking someone with experience. thanks again fellas!
