Default in dash display went off, but still displays warning signs?

Hey,
So my in-dash display does not show ANYTHING when just running normal. However, when i turn on the car, it says 'OK' and then will display my MPH warnings and such...

the display doesn't flicker, or show signs of 'getting messed up' gradually,, it just doesn't show anything.
Sounds like some kind of switch or fuse? Anyone know what i need to check? I'd hate to think that this thing just died...Woudlnt' it show signs beforehand? It was just one day it was on...then the next day its off. Someone else was driving it in the between time, but i can't imagine that someone could 'turn off' the display...but i may be wrong?

Anyone help?

thanks.

thanks, fixed it. I had tried pushing the up/down button on that stalk, but found the one on the bottom that turned it back on. thanks for the help doc.
