Firstly I wanted to say hello as I am new to this forums and to Audi's in general. Just bought a 1996 Audi a4 2.8 yesterday. Man oh man do I love it....but I bought it with one known problem. The dash does not always work. Not the entire dash just the speedometer and the RPM gauge. Sometimes I start the car and it works just fine, others I start it the RPM doesnt move, and the speedometer cable just moves up and down a few mm really quickly. Just wanted to know if this a common problem or what I can do to fix it. Other than that I love the car to death.
