Default Dashboard flickering light

Hello everyone
I have just joined this AUDI community and I cannot express how happy I am to be owning a A4 1.8T 1997 model.
I simply love it ..everything..
There is one little problem. There is a flickering light 'ln 2' just underneath the mileage . The guy from whom I bought this car said. that it can be done by Audi dealers with a scanner and doesnt mean anything dangerous. Is it true? Any other way that I cud get rid of that flickering.....
Otherwise..... the drive ..acceleration...comfort.. its very very nice...
Any help would be appreciated.

I am posting a photo of my lovely car.... cudnt help boasting...

Yes, the best ones out there for our car is a Bently. You should be able to google it and find places to purchase a Bently manual from. They come on CD as well as paper version.

thanx for info... i checked the bently and others.. there's a big price difference between the bently and other manuals.. bently costs like 60-80$ .and others cost ~15$ .. do u think bently is worth buying?? if yes.then i ll buy it.
