Dealer Loaner When Serviced???
I purchase a CPO A4 2 weeks ago, and already a problem!! I bought the car from a dealer in New Jersey and I live in Michigan. Yesterday I started having a scraping noise in the drivers side window and today it quit working all toghether. Couldn't roll the window up and had to store it overnight at a friend's garage. My questions are 1. Since the car is still under factory warranty for another 6 months until the extended kicks in, do I pay any deductible on repairs? and 2. Is the dealer under any obligation to give me a loaner for however long it takes for repairs?
Thanks
Thanks

1. the window regulator went out on you, happens a lot. Yes pay the deductible the part is over $150 by itself.
2. the dealer probably won't provide you with a dealer loaner car un-less you have an A8, they might however give you an enterprise rent a car for free if you ask.

Thanks for the response. However, since I am still under factory warranty isn't there supposed to be no deductible?? I thought that there was not one for factory and it was $50 for extended? Its the 1st time I've brought it in so I just want to be sure.

You shouldn't have to pay a deductible if it's still under factory warranty. I've never heard of such a thing.
As far as loaners are concerned, when i dropped my '99 B5 off at my local dealer to have the timing belt done, the service manager said he would offer me a loaner if he had one on the lot, but didn't. I think it really depends on who your dealer is. Never hurts to ask.
My dealer is FSK Audi in Frederick, MD and i've had nothing but pleasurable experiences from those guys. Top notch staff!

Oh ok if your factory warranty still applies you shouldn't have to pay anything, it a commonly stocked part but it may take about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete plus the wait time to get the car in the shop. So it would take a good part of the day depending on how busy the shop is.
