Default debadged! --> walkthrough

So today I got bored, and debadged my car... I am happy with the results, though getting the damned residue off was time consuming... just picked at it with my thumb nail (while my hand was in the sock, soaked in goo gone). I then used the claybar, then used a light polish... you can still faintly see the 'ghost' of the emblems, but the lighting has to be perfect. I could always use a compound to get it off, but had none available at my house. I think it looks great though. Note that I opted for the conair quiet tone -- pretty sweet machine. I had to set the dryer down to take the pics... but I was heating the emblem as I pulled through with the fishing wire. Here's pics:

^ ^ lucky bastard

Goof-off is hardcore... did it fade your clearcoat at all? That sh*t is harsh... goo gone is much more gentle.
