shok, the rings are removable, there are clips that hold it in place. BUT, the clips look pretty tricky, and i'm thinking you'll probably break at least one clip getting it off, probably more...i messed with mine for a minute or so, i wasn't able to unclip any of them

Like my gf's honda, which is assembled with those clips that are shaped like a spade... you push 'em through a hole, and BOOM, thats it! PERMANENT> I had to break EVERY SINGLE ONE getting this piece of trim off... wasnt happy.
But yeah, thanks for the info, if I can get my assignment done this week, I might be able to do the grill next saturday... provided my other class doesnt bury me in work.

it came out pretty good, I had a hard time trying to
remove the glue, the the heat gun really helps
